FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

All questions about your experience

1

What kind of activity is Venice Water Bike?

It is a recreational activity on the water carried out with the use of single-seat pedal boats (water bikes). The pedal boats are used exclusively as technical equipment during the activity and are not available for rental to the public. The activity is amateur and non-competitive. A short initial technical briefing is provided, and the experience always takes place with the assistance of the staff.

2

Is it necessary to know how to swim?

Yes. Participation is permitted only to those who are able to swim independently for at least 20 meters. This declaration is mandatory and constitutes an integral part of the liability waiver.

3

Who cannot participate in the activity?

The following persons may not participate: people under the influence of alcohol or drugs, pregnant women, without exception, minors under 16 years of age, and people who do not meet the standard physical requirements: maximum height 2 meters and maximum weight 110 kg. The organization reserves the right to exclude anyone who is not suitable or does not comply with the rules, without any right to a refund.

4

What documents do I have to accept or sign?

Online acceptance: During the booking process, it is necessary to digitally accept the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Liability Waiver. In addition, through a dedicated link on our website, information regarding the insurance coverage that will be activated for the participants in the experience will be available.

Paper signature and identity document: At check-in, before departure, it is mandatory to physically sign the paper Liability Waiver and present a valid identity document. Presentation of the document is necessary both to verify the identity of the participants and to allow activation of the applicable insurance coverage.

Document retention: The Company may retain a copy of the identity document exclusively for insurance purposes and for the time strictly necessary to manage the related coverage.

Consultation: The Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Liability Waiver, and insurance information can always be consulted through the links at the bottom of the page or in the drop-down menu of our website. In addition, you will be able to download the liability waiver in PDF format on the dedicated page.

Sending by e-mail: For your convenience, you will also receive the link to the Liability Waiver in the booking confirmation e-mail, so that you can download and consult it in advance.

Please note: Failure to present a valid identity document and/or failure to sign the paper liability waiver makes participation in the experience impossible, without any right to a refund.

5

How does the booking process work?

Booking takes place exclusively through the official website, by selecting the date, time, and number of participants in the dedicated calendar and following the booking process step by step. To confirm the booking, it is mandatory to enter the name of each individual participant, as well as the payer’s name, in the dedicated form. Entering the name of each participant is necessary to allow activation of the applicable insurance coverage. Failure to provide the name of each individual participant makes it impossible to take part in the experience.

If rescheduling is not possible or is not accepted by the customer, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

7

What happens if I arrive late?

The activity starts at the scheduled time even in the event of delay or absence of the customer. In the event of delay, failure to appear, or no-show, no refund of the amount paid is provided.
